Accenture, AWS team up to help enterprises adopt AI responsibly
Accenture (NYSE:ACN) and Amazon’s (NASDAQ:AMZN) Amazon Web Services are expanding their collaboration to help enterprises test, build and manage AI responsibly and safely.
The companies plan to create Accenture Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform powered by AWS.
“For the first time, Accenture plans to offer comprehensive end-to-end services spanning AI governance setup, AI risk assessment, generative AI testing, ongoing compliance support, regulation management and security for AWS workloads,” said Arnab Chakraborty, chief responsible AI officer, Accenture.
Tuned for AWS workloads, the platform will offer a unified view of assets, open-source tools and industry standards for responsible AI to help organizations incorporate them into their workflows and processes, the companies said on Thursday.
It will also help clients to understand what they need to do to identify specific AI risks, develop appropriate risk mitigation approaches and support compliance with specific regulations, according to the companies.
The announcement builds on Accenture’s ongoing work with AWS in AI, through the Accenture AWS Business Group. In March, Accenture and AWS announced a collaboration with AI startup Anthropic, which is backed by Amazon and Google, to scale AI responsibly.
