Payments giant PayPal (PYPL) and human capital management firm Paychex (PAYX) struck a partnership whereby employees of Paychex customers can get up to two-day early access to their paycheck via PayPal’s Direct Deposit feature, Paycheck said on Thursday.
In addition to early pay access, employees who enroll in Direct Deposit get access to PayPal’s (PYPL) full product suite, including the PayPal Debit Mastercard (MA) and a high-yield savings account.
With the PayPal (PYPL) integration, Paychex (PAYX) has made 25 employee benefit offerings available through Paychex Flex Perks, its digital marketplace of curated employee benefits.
“PayPal is helping consumers make the most of their money, optimizing cash back and rewards while also offering a trusted, flexible and seamless experience,” said Scott Young, senior vice president, Consumer Financial Services, PayPal. “We’re excited to bring that same access to employers and employees of the Paychex Flex Perks program.”
Paychex (PAYX) said it plans to keep expanding the number of offerings within Paychex Flex Perks based on evolving trends and customer feedback.
