Northrop Grumman secures $1.46B Navy contract modification

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. Aerospace Systems, a unit of Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) has secured a $1.46 billion modification to a previously awarded fixed-priced-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost contract.
The modification procures nine E-2D Advanced Hawkeye planes (four for the Navy and five for Japan), as well as additional support.
The project work is expected to be completed in March 2029.
Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
