AMD slides as reviewers pen thoughts on Ryzen CPUs

- AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) shares fell slightly more than 1% on Wednesday as several reviewers gave their initial thoughts on the company’s latest Ryzen CPUs.
- Earlier this month, AMD disclosed the launch price of its 9000 Series CPUs. The Ryzen 7 9700X with eight cores was priced at $359, while the Ryzen 5 9600X with six cores was priced at $279. The Ryzen 9 9950X with 16 cores will be priced at $649, while the Ryzen 9 9900X with 12 cores will be available for $499.
- The Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X were available for sale starting on August 8, while Ryzen 9 9950X and Ryzen 9 9900X will be available on August 15.
