Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) held its annual Dreamforce conference this week and the software giant offered up several positives on the cloud and its artificial intelligence initiatives, Baird said.
“We view success with Agentforce and Data Cloud as critically important for CRM, so we were encouraged by customer interest and engagement,” Baird analyst Rob Oliver wrote in an investor note. “Given Agentforce doesn’t become [generally available] until mid-October, we don’t expect material financial impact until FY26/FY27.”
Oliver has an Outperform rating and $315 price target on Salesforce.
Additional positives from the conference include conservations with customers who expressed interest in Salesforce’s product roadmap, as well as the aforementioned Agentforce, which was the “highlight” of nearly every conversation, Oliver said.
“Initial use-cases likely fall into Sales (Agentforce SDR and Sales Coach) and Service (Agentforce Service Agent), though we also see opportunities for vertical-specific applications. Agentforce platform is extensible and integrated with the partner ecosystem, with customers able to select pre-built templates or build their own agent from scratch,” Oliver wrote.
