Verizon services for >100k users affected – Downdetector

- Over 105k Verizon (NYSE:VZ) users have reported that their services were affected, according to data from info-tracking website Downdetector on Monday.
- The website said Verizon’s services were impacted in Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, Indianapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, Omaha, Minneapolis, and Columbus.
- 51% of the reported users said their mobile phone services were affected, and 35% said they had no signal on their device.
- The Verizon outages began shortly before market opening and peaked just before midday on Monday, according to the website.
- VZ shares were marginally down by 12:53 pm ET on the NYSE.
