Microsoft plans to pay publishers for Copilot Daily content
Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced today it will pay publishers for content used in its new Copilot Daily.
Microsoft revealed Copilot Daily, a daily summary of news and events pertinent to the user, along with a handful of other new artificial intelligence features today.
“Copilot Daily will only pull from authorized content sources,” Microsoft said in a blog post today. “We are working with partners such as Reuters, Axel Springer, Hearst Magazine and Financial Times, and plan to add more sources over time. We’ll also add additional personalization and controls in Copilot Daily over time.”
These are some of the same content sources as those used by Microsoft-backed OpenAI to train AI models.
Other new Copilot features Microsoft began rolling out today include Copilot Voice, Personalized Discover, Copilot in Microsoft Edge, Copilot Labs, Copilot Vision and Think Deeper.
