The sales took place in three tranches from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 at prices ranging from ~$39.40 to ~$39.61 per share,, according to a filing.
After the transactions, Berkshire (BRK.B) still holds 794M shares of Bank of America (BAC), or about 10.2% of its shares outstanding.
The amount is slowing from previous BAC stock divestitures. Late last week, Berkshire disclosed the sale of about $460M of stock and a few days earlier sold $863M of BAC shares.
