AerCap closes Q3 with 160 lease deals, transactions worth $10.5B

AerCap Holdings (NYSE:AER) has recapped all its major business transactions during the third quarter of 2024, with 160 lease agreement signed for widebody and narrowbody aircraft, helicopters and engines.

During the quarter, AerCap completed 41 purchases for 27 aircraft, including 2 Airbus (OTCPK:EADSY) (OTCPK:EADSF) A220 Family aircraft, 18 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 4 Boeing (BA) 737 MAX aircraft, 1 Boeing 787-9 and 2 Embraer (ERJ) E195-E2s, along with 13 engines and 1 helicopter.

AerCap signed financing transactions for approximately $10.5B, including $2.4B of senior unsecured notes, repurchased around 5.5M shares at an average price of $91.03 per share, for a total of $497M.
