- Dan Rosckes, Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) head of procurement, is retiring, Bloomberg reported.
- Rosckes, who has been at the company for 24 years, told staff that he intends to leave the company in short fashion, the news outlet added, citing people with knowledge of the decision. He will be replaced by David Tom, who has served as Rosckes’ top deputy for the past several years.
- In his role as vice president of global sourcing and supply management, Rosckes was responsible for reaching agreements with suppliers and obtaining pieces needed for its products.
- Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha.
- Shares fell 2.3% on Monday amid a broader sell off in tech stocks.
