Some Apple employees believe it's 2 years behind in AI development: Bloomberg

Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) internal studies have demonstrated that OpenAI’s ChatGPT was 25% more accurate than the iPhone-maker’s Siri, Bloomberg reported Sunday.
According to the report, some employees at Apple (AAPL) believe that the company’s generative AI technology is over two years behind the industry leaders.
In June, Apple (AAPL) unveiled a slew of AI-centric updates to its operating systems and announced a partnership with Microsoft (MSFT)-backed OpenAI.
The company is reportedly set to roll out the first features under Apple Intelligence as part of the iOS 18.1 operating system.
