Netflix reportedly closed its studio that was making a multi-platform AAA game
According to media reports from Tuesday, Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) has closed one of its gaming studios three years after it first entered the online gaming space. The news was first reported by Game File.
The company has shuttered the studio known as Blue. It hired former Overwatch executive producer Chacko Sonny to run operations and brought on a number of game industry veterans with experience working on high-profile franchises, including Halo and God of War, according to The Verge.
The studio was developing a multi-platform AAA game for an original IP but was closed before the game could be announced or released, the report said.
