Estée Lauder merchandise available in the Amazon Premium Beauty Store
Estée Lauder (NYSE:EL) makeup and skincare is now available in the Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) Premium Beauty store, providing Amazon (AMZN) Prime members with free delivery on their favorite products. Estée Lauder’s (EL) Clinique brand has been available at the Amazon Beauty Store since March.
“The launch of Estée Lauder in Amazon Premium Beauty marks a huge milestone for our brand as we bring our high-performance products and advanced skincare science to Amazon customers in the U.S.,” said Justin Boxford, Global Brand President for Estée Lauder.
The cosmetics and fragrance company is also debuting a Virtual Foundation Tool that is exclusive to Amazon (AMZN). Shoppers can compare multiple shares of foundation virtually and add their choice into an Amazon shopping cart.
To amplify its brand presence on Amazon (AMZN), the company is launching a female-centered sports marketing campaign called Game Day, Your Way, featuring Double Wear Stay-In-Place makeup. The ad will air throughout fall 2024.
The news has failed to give a lift to shares, with the sector weighed down by a warning from French cosmetics giant L’Oréal (OTCPK:LRLCY) regarding the increasingly challenging Chinese ecosystem. Accordingly, shares of Estée Lauder (EL), Coty (COTY), Ulta (ULTA), and e.l.f. Beauty (ELF) are all lower by 2% to as much as 5%.
