U.S. companies exposed to the nuclear energy trend
BofA Securities listed 23 U.S. companies that are exposed to nuclear energy and could benefit from the bipartisan support to investments and policy measures.
Although Asia is leading investments in clean energy technologies with about 90% of mass-manufacturing capacity, other developed markets, such as the U.S., have introduced measures like the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act that aims at incentivizing companies to re-shore manufacturing of clean tech.
“In the U.S., nuclear investments have bipartisan support, and so face less risk of funding cuts no matter the election outcome,” said Panos Seretis, global head of Sustainability Research at BofA, in a note.
Analysts highlighted companies benefiting from these policy measures. These are 23 U.S.-listed companies that are developing nuclear technologies or that are part of the supply chain from mining uranium to supplying electrical equipment, said Seretis.
