- Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) said Ted Pick will become chairman, in addition to his current CEO role, on Jan. 1, 2025, succeeding James Gorman, who will retire from the company.
- “It is time to hand the reins to the next generation of exceptional talent at Morgan Stanley,” said Gorman, who led the company for the past 15 years.
- Earlier this week, Gorman was picked to be chairman of Disney (DIS) as of Jan. 2.
