Boeing is said to skip China’s biggest airshow amid cost cuts
- Boeing (NYSE:BA) won’t attend China’s biggest commercial and defense airshow next month, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing an email from the planemaker.
- The company’s absence from the Zhuhai Airshow comes as Boeing (BA) grapples with several crises, including a labor strike that’s going into its seventh week.
- “We continue to value our relationships in China and look forward to future opportunities to engage with our partners and customers,” the company said in an email to Bloomberg News. Boeing (BA) didn’t elaborate on the reasons for not attending.
- The China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition will be held from Nov. 12-17 in the southern Chinese city of Zhuhai.
