Waymo draws a +$45B valuation in its latest round of funding – report

Autonomous vehicle startup Waymo has been valued at more than $45 billion in the latest funding round of the Google parent-owned company, Bloomberg reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The report said Waymo had raised $5.6B in new capital at an undisclosed value. The round was led by Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG).
Existing investors who participated in the funding include Andreessen Horowitz, Fidelity, Perry Creek, Silver Lake, Tiger Global, and T. Rowe Price, the report said.
Earlier in the week, the company said its Waymo One service is now providing over 150,000 paid trips and driving over one million fully autonomous miles every week.
