McDonald’s to spend $100M to help franchises most affected by E.coli break: reports
McDonald’s has said recent testing showed no E.Coli in its ingredients, adding that the Quarter Pounder has returned to its menu.
Chief Financial Officer Ian Borden said on the company’s earnings call in late October that sales turned negative in the early days of the outbreak. He and Chief Executive Chris Kempczinski said on the call that they don’t expect the outbreak to have a “material impact” on the company.
