- Boeing (NYSE:BA) plans to fire about 2,200 workers in Washington State, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification on Monday.
- The cuts are part of a 10% workforce reduction that the troubled aviation giant announced last month. The cuts are expected to affect about 17,000 workers.
- Boeing (BA) last week said it would take several weeks before it would fully resume building commercial planes, as workers returned after a strike.
