Executive reshuffles: INTC, ZS, ETSY and SEDG
Market watchers, throughout the week, observed several Wall Street executives stepping up for new roles as part of leadership reshuffling.
Meanwhile, some companies such as Intel, Zscaler and Etsy added new positions to steer growth prospects.
Here are some of the recent management changes that took place during the week:
Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) made the surprising announcement on Monday that CEO Pat Gelsinger is retiring and will be replaced by co-CEOs David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus. Gelsinger is also stepping down from the company’s board of directors. Both departures are effective Dec. 1.
Zscaler (NASDAQ:ZS) CFO Remo Canessa is retiring after serving in the position for nearly eight years.
Etsy (NASDAQ:ETSY) said Lanny Baker will join the company as CFO. Baker, who will succeed Rachel Glaser, is currently COO and previously CFO of Eventbrite.
SolarEdge Technologies (SEDG) said that it appointed Chief Marketing Officer Shuki Nir as its new CEO effective immediately, succeeding Ronen Faier, who has served as interim CEO since August.
Humana (HUM) has announced that Celeste Mellet will be appointed to succeed Susan Diamond as CFO, effective Jan 11, 2025.
Retail discount stores company Dollar Tree (DLTR) said that its CFO Jeffrey Davis will step down from the role, effective upon the appointment of a successor.
Joby Aviation (JOBY) said that Matthew Field, the company’s CFO, would be resigning, effective Dec. 13, 2024, for personal reasons.
Cerence (CRNC) announced that it has appointed Antonio Rodriquez as its permanent CFO, effective Nov. 29, 2024.
Fluor (FLR) has announced that executive vice president and CFO, Joe Brennan, will retire effective July 1, 2025. The Board has appointed John Regan as the new finance chief, effective March 1, 2025.
Beam Therapeutics (BEAM) has appointed Sravan K. Emany as CFO, effective Dec. 19, 2024. He most recently served as CFO and COO at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals (IRWD).
