Boeing’s plane deliveries decline to 13 in November as strike ends

Boeing (NYSE:BA) in November delivered 13 commercial jets as the aviation giant worked to resume production following a seven-week strike by machinists. A year earlier, the company delivered 56 planes to customers including airlines.

Boeing (BA) has sought to increase the output of its best-selling 737 Max to 38 a month to help lift cash flow. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration had capped output of the narrowbody plane in January after a door plug blew out from a 737 Max 9 flown by Alaska Airlines.

Boeing (BA) plans to resume production of its 767, 777 and 777X planes in Everett, Washington, “in the days ahead,” according to a statement. Production of the 787 in South Carolina wasn’t halted by the strike.
