Executive reshuffles: JPM, QCOM, DVN and LTC
Market watchers, throughout the week, observed several Wall Street executives stepping up for new roles as part of leadership reshuffling.
Meanwhile, some companies such as JPMorgan Chase, Qualcomm and Devon Energy added new positions to steer growth prospects.

JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) has named Michele G. Buck, Hershey Co.’s (HSY) chairman, president, and CEO, to its board.
In a key leadership transition, Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) has appointed Baaziz Achour to the role of Chief Technology Officer, effective Feb. 3, 2025.
Devon Energy (NYSE:DVN) said that Rick Muncrief will retire as President and CEO, and as a board member, effective Mar. 1, 2025, to be succeeded by current COO Clay Gaspar.
LTC Properties (LTC) has announced some leadership updates, with Pam Kessler and Clint Malin to take the helm as co-CEOs and Cece Chikhale promoted to CFO.
Biotechnology company Amarin (AMRN) has announced that Peter Fishman has been appointed CFO, effective immediately.
Flagstar Financial (FLG) has announced the appointment of Lee Smith as senior executive vice president and CFO, effective Dec. 27, 2024.
Assertio Holdings (ASRT) has announced the creation of a new Transformation Office and the appointment of Paul Schwichtenberg as Chief Transformation Officer. In addition, Mary Pietryga will be appointed as Chief Commercial Officer, effective Dec. 16, 2024.
Regions Financial (RF) has announced Roger W. Jenkins, director and CEO of Murphy Oil Corporation, has been appointed to serve on the board of the company and its subsidiary, Regions Bank.
Healthcare Realty Trust (HR) has formally appointed Austen Helfrich as the company’s permanent executive vice president and CFO, effective immediately.
Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAA) has announced the appointment of A. Bradley Hill as its president and CEO, effective April 1, 2025.
