JPMorgan Chase card delinquency rate holds, charge-offs tick up in November
JPMorgan Chase’s (NYSE:JPM) credit card trust credit metrics held strong in November as its lending activity crept up in the month.
The Chase Issuance Trust delinquency rate stayed at 0.87% for the third straight month and declined from 0.99% a year ago. The level also remains lower than prepandemic times, when the rate stood at 1.17%.
The net charge-off rate of 1.64% edged up from 1.62% in October, but remained below November 2023’s 1.75% level and 2.20% in November 2019.
Principal receivables at the end of the month were $12.73B, up 0.5% from $12.67B at the beginning of the period.
