MSCI names former Google Cloud executive to board

MSCI (NYSE:MSCI) named June Yang, former vice president of cloud AI and industry solutions at Google Cloud (GOOG) (GOOGL) to its board, effective Tuesday.

Yang has “deep expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions,” MSCI Chairman and CEO Henry A. Fernandez said. “Her insights into cutting-edge solutions will play a vital role in advancing MSCI’s commitment to innovation and delivering enhanced tools for our clients navigating the complexities of global markets.”

Prior to joining Google Cloud, Yang held various engineering and product management positions at VMware. She has served as a director of NetApp (NTAP) since September 2024 and a director of UiPath (PATH) since February 2024.
