- Marvell dropped 10% by afternoon trading, while Broadcom slipped 6%.
- Other drops throughout the sector weren’t as pronounced, including Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) -1.5%, Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) -1.6%, Intel (INTC) -2.3%, Arm Holdings (ARM) -2.4%, Qualcomm (QCOM) -0.3%, Analog Devices (NASDAQ:ADI) -1.7%, Texas Instruments (TXN) -1%, Micron Technology (MU) -0.5%, Applied Materials (AMAT) -0.1% and Lam Research (LRCX) -0.1%.
- The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX) was down 2%. Meanwhile, Dow Jones (DJI), S&P 500 (SP500) and Nasdaq (COMP:IND) had all slid less than 1%.
