Foreign phone shipments in China slump 21% in January – report

Shipments of foreign-branded phones, including Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone, in China tumbled 21% in January year-over-year, Reuters reported, citing data from a government-affiliated research firm.

The data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, or CAICT, showed that in January shipments
