Rivian Automotive spins outs its micromobility business as it looks to narrow its focus

Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ:RIVN) announced on Wednesday that it has spun off its micromobility division into a new company called Also Inc. The new company will focus on developing small, lightweight vehicles to address global transportation challenges.

The electric vehicle maker
