Textron’s shares rise on better-than-expected Q1 earnings

Textron’s (NYSE:TXT) shares rose 3.1% in premarket trading Thursday after the industrial conglomerate reported better-than-expected results for the first quarter. Higher aviation revenue more than offset lower sales in its industrial and systems divisions.
