Judge rules U.S. owes state $28M for protests against Dakota Access pipeline project

A U.S. district court judge ruled Wednesday that the state of North Dakota is entitled to nearly $28M from the federal government for responding to protests of Energy Transfer’s (NYSE:ET) Dakota Access oil pipeline in 2016-17.
