McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is bringing back the Snack Wrap to its menu after several years of social media interactions on the topic finally prompted the fast-food chain to act.
Starting July 10, the Snack Wrap returns to participating restaurants nationwide. The Snack Wrap features one of the chain’s new McCrispy Strips, which is a juicy chicken strip made with all white meat, topped with crisp shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Fans can get them in two delicious flavors. The spicy version is described as bold, zesty, and unapologetically fiery. The ranch version is described as smooth, rich, and irresistibly savory.
Customers can snag the Snack Wrap à la carte or as a combo meal, which includes two Snack Wraps, medium fries, and a drink of choice.
McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) is looking to make the most of the social media buzz. The company issued a two-word press release quoting a top executive as saying, “It’s back.” Google search trends also show a spike in interest in the related queries to the product.

The company noted that Snack Wrap was phased out nationally in 2016, but it never left fans’ hearts. “From countless social media posts to full-fledged petitions, they never gave up on their favorite menu item. They’re the ones who inspired us to make its return to the menu happen,” updated McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD).
