After the fallout between tech billionaire Elon Musk and U.S. President Donald Trump, Musk expressed regret over some of his recent social media posts about the President, indicating his comments had crossed a line.
“I regret some of my posts about President last week. They went too far.” he wrote in a post on X on Wednesday early morning.
This comes after a highly publicized feud between the two, which included Musk criticizing Trump’s ‘The Big Beautiful Bill’ and calling it ‘The Big Ugly Bill.’ Trump, in turn, expressed disappointment and threatened to revoke government contracts with Musk’s companies.
The dispute escalated as the tech entrepreneur wrote, “Time to drop the really big bomb: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” The post was later removed.
Tesla (TSLA) saw one of its worst declines in history after the feud escalated last week.
