
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has announced eight new members to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) after his abrupt removal of all 17 members of the panel early this week.
In an X post late Wednesday, RFK Jr. listed the names and profiles of the new members who are scheduled to meet on June 25 in a key CDC ACIP meeting where they will discuss who should receive COVID-19 vaccines during the upcoming respiratory virus season.
New ACIP panelists are Dr. Joseph R. Hibbeln, Martin Kulldorff, Retsef Levi, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Cody Meissner, Dr. James Pagano, Vicky Pebsworth, and Dr. Michael A. Ross.
“All of these individuals are committed to evidence-based medicine, gold-standard science, and common sense,” RFK Jr. said, adding, “They have each committed to demanding definitive safety and efficacy data before making any new vaccine recommendations.”
