Stock futures experienced a dip in Tuesday’s premarket trading, influenced by prevailing tensions in the Middle East. Investors also looked ahead to the release of U.S. retail sales data later in the session.
Here are some of Tuesday’s biggest stock movers:
Biggest stock gainers
- Digital Turbine (NASDAQ:APPS) +7% – Shares jumped after the tech firm posted upbeat FQ4 results and issued FY2026 guidance above Wall Street expectations. The company expects adjusted EBITDA of $85M–$90M (midpoint: $87.5M vs. $85.2M est.) and annual revenue of $515M–$525M (midpoint: $520M vs. $519.5M est.).
- Lennar (NYSE:LEN) +2.5% – Shares rose despite mixed FQ2 results, as revenue topped expectations while earnings missed. For FQ3, Lennar guided for home deliveries of 22,000–23,000 and new orders in the same range, both slightly below Visible Alpha estimates. It also forecast a lower average sales price of $380K–$385K (vs. $398.4K consensus) and maintained gross margin expectations at ~18%. Executive Chairman and co-CEO Stuart Miller emphasized a continued focus on volume, pace, and operational efficiency amid softening market conditions.
Biggest stock losers
- Sunrun (NASDAQ:RUN) -25% – Solar stocks plunged after Senate Republicans proposed phasing out solar and wind tax credits by 2028 in a revised version of President Trump’s tax and spending bill, raising concerns about the future of renewable energy subsidies. The move triggered a sector-wide selloff, with SolarEdge (NASDAQ:SEDG) down 19%, Enphase (NASDAQ:ENPH) -15%, Array Technologies (NASDAQ:ARRY) -9%, and First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) -7%. While the bill extends incentives for hydro, nuclear, and geothermal through 2036, the Solar Energy Industries Association warned it could severely undermine the domestic solar market.
