- Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is in talks with Formula One (NASDAQ:FWONA) (NASDAQ:FWONK) to put its camera lenses on the racing league’s cars, Bloomberg reported.
- If the deal happens, it could alter how the sport is televised to the roughly 70M people who watch each race, the news outlet added. The talks came after Apple affixed dozens of iPhone cameras to an F1 car for the upcoming F1 movie, the latest movie from Apple Original Films.
- Apple and Formula One did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha.
- F1: The Movie, is set to premiere in theaters on June 27.
