Insider trades: Broadcom, Dell among notable names this week

This week’s insider trading summary highlights significant buying and selling activity by company insiders, including investors, executives, and board members across several technology firms like Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) and Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL). The reported transactions took place between June 16 and June 20.

  • Broadcom’s (AVGO) President and CEO Hock Tan sold a stake worth $29.78M in the firm this week. He let go of 117,758 shares for $252.91 apiece, reducing his total shareholding to 1.73M shares.
  • Bill Scannell, president of Global Sales & Customer Operations at Dell Technologies (DELL) revealed in a filing that he sold 91,230 shares for $118.42 each totalling $10.8M. he currently holds 56,429 shares in the company.
  • Snap Inc’s (NYSE:SNAP) Chief Financial Officer Derek Andersen let go of 33,886 shares for $8.04 each, for a total value of $272,454. Following the transaction, Andersen now owns 3,20M shares at the firm.
  • Jagtar Chaudhry, CEO and chairman of Zscaler (NASDAQ:ZS) disposed of 2,849 shares of the company for $303.70 each for a total value of $865,247. Despite the sale, Chaudhry holds a sizeable stake of 29.6M shares in the company.
  • Dollar General’s (NYSE:DG) EVP and Chief Merchandising Officer Emily Taylor sold a small stake worth $222,501 in the company. Taylor let go of 1,969 shares for $113 each. Her shareholding has now reduced to 46,563 shares.
  • John Paulson, director at Bausch Health Companies (NYSE:BHC), bought 3.56M shares of the company, increasing his stake to 32.79M shares. At a price of $5.94 per share, he invested a total of $21.17M in the company.
  • Robinhood Markets’ (NASDAQ:HOOD) director Christopher Payne purchased 26,500 shares in the company for $74.19 each for a total value of nearly $2M. Payne’s total holding now stands at 26,934 shares.
