Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) is continuing its hiring spree of artificial intelligence experts from OpenAI, with four more researchers set to join the company, according to a report from The Information on Saturday.

The new recruits — Shengjia Zhao, Jiahui Yu, Shuchao Bi and Hongyu Ren — have each agreed to join Meta, the report said, citing a source familiar with the matter.

This follows news earlier in the week that Meta (NASDAQ:META) had hired Lucas Beyer, Alexander Kolesnikov and Xiaohua Zhai, all of whom previously worked in OpenAI’s Zurich office, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Both Meta (META) and OpenAI, the developer behind ChatGPT, declined to comment when contacted by Reuters.

Meta (META) has recently accelerated its efforts to attract AI talent from OpenAI, as Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg expands the company’s work in advanced artificial intelligence and what’s known as superintelligence research.
