Anthropic is currently valued at $61.5B, and has produced some of the best AI applications for developing and correcting computer code, the report said.
Apple (AAPL) has reportedly teamed up with Anthropic to develop an AI-powered platform which will assist developers in writing, editing and testing code. The iPhone maker is also considering utilizing Anthropic to power its long-awaited upgrade to Siri, rather than leaning on an in-house model.
Anysphere, which offers an AI-powered coding app called Cursor, also relies on Anthropic. Anysphere recently hired a pair of leaders from Anthropic’s Claude Code team, Boris Cherny and Cat Wu, according to the report.
