Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL) has placed Chief Operating Officer Jeff Clarke in charge of its personal computer division to help boost sales, according to Bloomberg.

Clarke will take over leadership of Dell’s Client Solutions Group, which handles the design, development, engineering, marketing, services and strategy for PCs and PC accessories, the report said, citing an internal memo. The former head of CSG, Sam Burd, will now help run Dell’s corporate strategy, the report said.

Although Dell’s high-powered servers for artificial intelligence applications have enjoyed strong demand in recent quarters, its PC sales have not been as stout. Dell’s Infrastructure Computing Group, which includes servers, storage and networking solutions for cloud and AI computing, demonstrated 12% year-over-year revenue growth in the first quarter earnings report to hit $10.3B. CSG revenue increased 5% year over year to $12.5B, but included a 19% drop in consumer PC sales.

“What we’re focused on is leading the commercial and consumer PC markets and capitalizing on the critical PC refresh cycle,” a Dell spokesperson said, according to the report.

Dell was down 2.6% by afternoon market action on Tuesday.
