Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) announced the names of directors who will join the board of Versant Media Group, the networks-focused company spun out of the media and cable giant.
Led by chairman David Novak, longtime Comcast board member and former CEO of Yum! Brands, the new company’s board will include:
- Versant CEO Mark Lazarus
- Rebecca Campbell, former chairman of International Content and Operations at Disney
- Creighton Condon, counsel at law firm A&O Shearman
- Michael Conway, former CEO of Starbucks North America
- David Eun, founding advisor to Kanza AI
- Gerald Hassell, former chairman and CEO of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation
- Scott Mahoney, chairman and CEO of Peter Millar LLC
- Maritza Montiel, former Deputy CEO and VC of Deloitte & Touche LLP’s U.S. business
- Len Potter, founder of Wildcat Capital Management.
Versant’s board will consist of 10 members in total. The new company is expected to be spun off from Comcast by the end of 2025.
