- The startup is currently valued at $61.5B.
- The next round would bring in at least $3B, but could potentially reach $5B, the Financial Times reported.
- The newspaper added that Anthropic has spoken with several Middle Eastern investors. MGX, an AI investment fund based in Abu Dhabi, has expressed interest.
- Anthropic, which is known for its large language model Claude, has significant investment commitments from Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG)(NASDAQ:GOOGL). Open AI has major backing from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT).
