- Two sources told the news service that findings from a national security probe into semiconductors would come before a pharma tariffs announcement. Trump is also preoccupied with his meeting Friday with President Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine.
- Pharma companies are still awaiting the results of an investigation begun in April on the national security impacts of foreign drug production. Although Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has previously stated it would be completed by mid-June, it has yet to be released.
