Anthropic now allows subscribers of its Enterprise and Teams plans to add premium seats that include Claude Code, an artificial intelligence-powered coding assistant capable of handling tasks such as editing, testing and version control integration, the company announced today.
Companies such as Google (NASDAQ:GOOG)(NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Microsoft’s (MSFT) GitHub already offer enterprise AI plans with coding tools.
Anthropic is a San Francisco-based AI startup with significant financial backing from Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Google and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Its annual Team plans cost $30 per month for each standard seat and $150 per month per premium seat, according to the Anthropic website. Enterprise plan prices are not public.
Altana, a New York-based software company that helps clients navigate the global supply chain, was an early client of Anthropic’s Claude Code.
“Claude Code and Claude have accelerated Altana’s development velocity by 2-10x, transforming how we build sophisticated AI/ML systems that facilitate multi-party collaboration on large-scale knowledge graphs of global supply chains,” said Altana co-founder and chief science officer Peter Swartz.
Anthropic’s Claude large language models provide support for Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant. It’s also been reported that Apple (AAPL) is considering using it to support its long-awaited Siri upgrade.
