Boeing and Machinists union said to resume contract talks Monday

Boeing (NYSE:BA) and Machinists union officials are slated to resume contract negotiations on Monday, Reuters reported, citing a union official.

Boeing (NYSE:BA) Defense workers assembling F-15 and F/A-18 in the St. Louis area and Illinois have been on strike since August 4, 2025.

The workers rejected Boeing’s (NYSE:BA) offer of a 20% wage increase, a $5,000 ratification bonus, more vacation and sick leave, and a path to higher wages.

The company has managed to maintain production, flight testing and other work so far using non-union workers, Boeing Defense spokesperson Didi VanNierop said.
