Korean Air is expected to announce an order for ~100 Boeing (NYSE:BA) planes, which would be the largest in the air carrier’s history, Reuters reported Monday.
The order, which is expected to include a mix of 787s, 777s and 737 jets, would coincide with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung’s meeting with President Trump in Washington.
Boeing (NYSE:BA) Commercial Airplanes CEO Stephanie Pope and Korean Air CEO Cho Won-tae are both attending an event of business leaders with President Lee in Washington, according to the report.
Separately, Boeing (BA) and the union reporesenting 3,200 machinists did not make any progress toward resolving a three-week strike by St. Louis-area hourly workers during a brief bargaining session Monday, according to International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837.
