- Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) warned that all major Fox channels, including Fox Sports, Fox News, and local Fox stations, may soon be pulled from YouTube TV if a new agreement with Fox Corp. (NASDAQ:FOX) (NASDAQ:FOXA) is not reached by the end of Wednesday.

The conflict centers on Fox Corp. (NASDAQ:FOX) (NASDAQ:FOXA) demanding higher payments from Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) than what YouTube TV pays to partners for similar content.
- “Fox is asking for payments that are far higher than what partners with comparable content offerings receive,” YouTube wrote in a blog post. “Our priority is to reach a deal that reflects the value of their content and is fair for both sides without passing on additional costs to our subscribers.”

If the blackout persists, YouTube TV has promised to issue a $10 monthly credit to affected subscribers.
