Eunice Kim resigns as product chief of Netflix; CTO to fill in temporarily

Eunice Kim, the chief product officer at Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), is leaving the company, the streaming giant said Wednesday.

The reason for Kim’s departure was not immediately known. Chief technology officer Elizabeth Stone will assume her duties on an interim basis, the company said.

“Over the past five years, Eunice has made many significant contributions to Netflix—most recently launching our new TV experience,” Co-CEO Greg Peters said in a statement.

Kim played a crucial role in the password sharing crackdown and was also responsible for managing the cosmetics of the app and the website.
