PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL) announced on Monday a new way to send and receive money through a personalized, one-time payment link that can be shared in any conversation.
Shares were +0.55% pre-market to $67.26.
PayPal links let users in the U.S. to create personalized payment links from today. An international expansion to the UK, Italy, and other markets is planned for later in September.
Also, PayPal said peer-to-peer experience is about to go further, with crypto to soon be directly integrated into its new P2P payment flow in the app.
The arrangement makes it convenient for users in the U.S. to send Bitcoin (BTC-USD), Ethereum (ETH-USD), PayPal USD (PYUSD-USD), and other cryptocurrencies to PayPal, Venmo, as well as other digital wallets across the world that support crypto and stablecoins.
