Cognizant to use Anthropic’s AI model Claude for enterprise customers and internal teams

Cognizant Technology (CTSH) said it will use Anthropic’s (ANTHRO) AI family of large language models, Claude, to accelerate AI adoption across enterprise customers and its own internal teams.

Cognizant noted that it will provide Claude to up to 350,000 associates across vital corporate functions, engineering, and delivery teams, and use Claude Code to accelerate coding tasks, testing, documentation and DevOps workflows.

The consultancy company plans to align its software engineering and platform offerings with Anthropic’s capabilities, including Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, and the Agent SDK.

Cognizant plans to engage clients via workshops, reference patterns, and platform integrations using Claude to help teams identify high-value use cases and move them into production to enable measurable outcomes.

AI startup Anthropic is backed by Amazon (AMZN) and Alphabet’s (GOOG) (GOOG) Google.
