Nvidia (NVDA) will invest $1B in a green data center in Nuevo León, Mexico, the state’s governor said on Wednesday.
The investment will bring Nvidia, or “the most important company in software and Artificial Intelligence,” to the region, Nuevo León governor Samuel Garcia said in a post on X, announcing the investment.
Garcia added that he has instructed the secretary of economics for the Mexican state to create an office focused on investment, innovation and AI to attract additional companies and projects.
Nvidia shares fell fractionally in Wednesday trading.
