3G Capital takes new stake in Alphabet, Microsoft, cuts position in Coupang in Q3 moves

3G Capital took a new position in Alphabet (GOOG) (GOOGL), Microsoft (MSFT), Broadcom (AVGO), trimmed its position in Goosehead Insurance (GSHD) and Coupang (CPNG), while exiting monday.com (MNDY) among its Q3 moves.

The fund disclosed the information in its latest 13F filing, which was published on Friday.

The fund acquired 100,000 shares in Alphabet, 65,000 shares in Broadcom, 35,000 shares in Microsoft as well as Accelerant (ARX) and 20,000 shares in Alibaba Group (BABA). It also initiated a new position in Sea Limited (SE) by taking 105,000 shares.

According to the filing, the fund boosted its position in BBB Foods (TBBB) from 1.5 million shares to 1.6 million shares and Carvana (CVNA) from 90,000 shares to 120,000 shares.

3G Capital maintained its position in AppLovin (APP) at 95,000 shares, Analog Devices (ADI) at 90,000 shares, Meta Platforms (META) at 80,000 shares, and MercadoLibre (MELI) at 17,500 shares.

On the other hand, the fund significantly reduced its position in Coupang (CPNG) from 1.25 million to 0.6 million, in Atour Lifestyle (ATAT) from 1.15 million to 0.4 million.

Additionally, it trimmed its holdings in Goosehead Insurance (GSHD) from 462,500 shares to 125,000 shares and PDD Holdings (PDD) from 425,000 shares to 100,000 shares.

The fund exited its position in monday.com (MNDY).
